Wii Fit is if you do the aerobic exercises.
I just downloaded Helix on WiiWare and I work a better sweat doing that even though it’s only upper body.. It’s tons of fun though, reminds me of the boxing games but at a faster pace and with music. Only 1000 wii pts, worth every single one of them.
Wii Active is coming out soon. I want to get it because it can work with the Wii Fit and it’s harder to fake out because it has a strap for your thigh that the nunchuk goes in, so it can judge how high you’re lifting your leg.
Rayman Raving Rabbids, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Wii Sports (which is included) are all active too. There are others.

Wii Fit is very fun, but it really doesn’t qualify for “good exercise”. I own it and I love to play it, though, so maybe its worth a shot!

Personally, I hate video games, but i found the wii to be quite fun. My favorites are tennis, bowling, and nearly all of the wii fit games. Most of them are very fun and challenging, though there is one that i do not like. That is a breathing one where it has you doing yoga breaths. If you don’t like video games, but want to get a little bit of extra excercise in the comfort of your home, this is perfect for you. Don’t listen to people who say it’s not a work out, most of them really are. You can do planks, pushups, lunges, and play various sports like you would in real life only a tad bit easier. Hope I’ve helped!

They are gimmicks. If you are looking for a real workout or exercise program, go to a gym.
