What Music/song Would Best Represent The Romantic Literary Time Period?

I have a project about the romantic literary time period, and I think it would be great if I could include some music that best corresponds with the mood…but I’m having trouble finding any music or songs like that. It would be great if you could help!

Ever ask yourself do I need a GPS?

Tchaikovsky is indeed one of the masters of the Romantic period, and you could use music from one of his ballets–say, Swan Lake or Romeo and Juliet–if you want an orchestra sound and a lot of emotion. Another good choice for a sweeping orchestral sound would be a symphony by Brahms.
If you want less instrumentation, try a piano concerto by either Chopin or Liszt.
On the other extreme, the grand “showmen” of the period were Verdi, Wagner, and Berlioz. Try listening to part of La Symphonie Fantastique (Berlioz), Tristan and Isolde (Wagner) or Aida (Verdi).

Tchaikovsky would be your best best, he wrote classical music during the romantic period, and it goes very well with romantic literature.
