I have a plug which is being used for a internet plug right now, i want to switch it over to a phone plug so i can connect it to my tv reciever. How do i switch it over?

you do not need to change the RJ-45 jack to an RJ-12 jack, because a normal telephone line cord can still be plugged into the jack…
what you would need to do is go to the other end of the wire where it connects to your network, and disconnect it from your router, and connect the blue/white and solid blue wires to your dial tone…
another option would be to leave the RJ-45 in place, but pull out the brown/white and solid brown wire, and connect a phone jack (this will allow you to keep the internet jack active) and just connect the dial tone to the brown/white, and solid brown wires at the other end of the wire…
