How To Make People In The Christmas Spirit Or Make Christmas Still Special?

Ok, I’m super ready for Christmas but my family isn’t. Usually we already have the tree up by now but we bought a house for my brother that has to be re-done.Needless to say they are really busy with the house and are not at all ready for Christmas. How can I still make Christmas special for me (I’m only 14 so I can’t do much) or get my family in the Christmas Spirit?

Do you know what is the best mp3 player to purchase? You need to know this if you are in the market for a new MP3 player.

Play Christmas music around the house and make a day full of family by telling your family to sit down and relax and get ready for Christmas. When you put up the Christmas tree play Christmas songs while doing it! Do something nice for your family that will make them get SO happy that they would drop everything and say “Honey, that’s amazing!” And that would make you feel really special. Christmas is always special… as long as your celebrating, it’s special. Good Luck!

the easiest thing is to play christmas music around the house. keep it going all day.
it also helps to decorate the house a little bit. hang up some ornaments, garland, bows, strings of lights, or if you can’t find any of that, make red green and white paper chains and decorations and hang them up around the house.
i found it also helps to play videos/dvds of the classic christmas specials or christmas movies, like rudolph, frosty, the santa clause, elf, etc. just play them on the tv for no one in general. when people are in the room, they’ll stop and watch, and be like “i remember that show!”
you can also start wearing an elf or santa hat or reindeer ears around the house (if you have them)
    hope this helps! good luck
    merry christmas!

I was always the most psyched for Christmas in my family, too - I still am. Your parents will not skip the tree this year - maybe they just need a smaller tree or a tree that requires little effort this year. You can start posting pictures of trees against the wall where the tree should go as a hint, or even bring them to the site my mom got a tree from this year: http://www.christmaslightsetc.com/artifi… They have little trees and predecorated trees, so if it is the hassle your family is avoiding, maybe they want to consider a hassle free tree - no need to even pull a box out of the attic, or clean a large area.

Ok so first, you HAVE to start playing music, happy stuff, to cheer them up. Start talking about christmas saying like ‘This is going to be the best christmas ever!’ and decorate the house with all your christmas stuff! Make sure your room is well decorated so when they see it the christmas spirit SHOOTS into them!! Also, remind them you need to buy some stuff e.g: friends stuff, tree etc… and that should finally re-brighten the dull place!!

Blast music from the player or computer to get everyone in the mood
bake cookies and make gingerbread houses. decorate the inside of the house with little christmas lights and whatnot put candles in the windows. hum little tunes while you’re walking around the house. yea! that should get them in the Christmas spirit.

Sorry kiddo. People just aren’t feeling it this time around. Especially with a lot of people with little money, they just can’t get into it. One thing for sure, the tree always gets people in the mood. Start putting it up.

Start playing Christmas music around the house. That usually gets everyone in the spirit. Take out some of your ornaments and decorate the house with them.

You could start getting the Christmas tree lights out and checking them and maybe ask your mom and/or dad if you could start decorating a bit. Play Christmas music too.
