How To Make A File Downloadable Off Of A Freewebs Site? (ill Name 1st Answer Best Answer!!!!)?

Ok, so I’m creating a website from “freewebs” (webs.com) and I don’t know how to make a file downloadable off of my website!! I’m planning to have a page-full of downloads, and I really need to know!! Thanks!

    Have you considered that you will have to pay for the bandwidth you will be using? Oh, that’s right, you are using a free site, where your bandwidth is capped and very low. Good luck with getting much downloaded before you hit your monthly limit!

    Since you are using a free site, you will have to zip your files to trigger the download function of the browsers.

    You have to zip the file to trigger the browser’s response to Save File. Otherwise, it will call a program to play the media file.
