How To I File Charges On Someone Who Has Recently Been Released From Prison?

This guy is constantly leaving threatening messages on my phone via voicemail and text I have saved every message bascially because he hasn’t shown any signs of change one bit so I don’t want anything to do with him. But he is continuing to leave messages on my phone do I contact parole and probation or do I go file a protective order with the district court? Please help

Only the prosecutor can file charges. Unless messaging you is a violation of his probation, the prosecutor will have no basis for filing charges. But you can call and ask if you want.
You can go request a restraining order if you want, but your chances for success are low, unless the messages he is leaving are threatening your safety.
The world does not revolve around your voicemail, sorry.

You must file a police report, and take your voice mails to the station, so that they can verify that this person is indeed threatening you with bodily injury. When they know who he is, they will forward the report to the Probation officer handling his case. If this behavior continues you go to the State Attorney (district) your area and ask for protective order.

File the protective order; fill out the paperwork, take your phone down and let the judge listen to the messages. Shouldn’t be a problem.
Call the police and report him. Most states have laws against threatening/harassing phone calls. The police can contact his probation & parole officer.
