My husband and I have been trying to connect our laptop to our surround sound system but are having no luck. We’ve connected it to our LCD TV but we want the sound through our surround sound speakers. If there is anyone with any solutions, we would greatly appreciate it

my tv has a pc out, youll have to hook the surround system to that, if your surround system is meant for tv and has a differen’t cable, not the normal 3.5 mm audio jack then you will probably need a converter. because the pc out is a 3.5 mm audio jack only
