My son hooked up his Wii to play a game and our wireless internet just automatically started on its own. Why is this NOT happening with my daughters Wii?

I had the same problem
some modems allow only ONE pc (in this case wii) to be wireless if you have windows XP on your computer NOT VISTA! you should buy the wifi usb connector and hook it up to the computer there is a manual so follow the instructions Carefully you can get the connecter at BB (Best Buy) or FS (Future Shop)

you have to go on the wii home where u select the game then click the button that says wii on the bottom right of the screen then select wifi settings or internet settings then click connection 1 then scan for wireless router… the rest just works out on its own
