I have an LCD TV hanging on a wall, and my cat won’t stop jumping on top of it, probably because it’s high up and warm. The problem is that I’m not sure how sturdy the wall mount is, and he also sometimes slips and scratches the screen. How can I keep him from climbing on it? He hasn’t reacted at all to loud noises, spraying with water, aluminum foil or double-sided tape. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have a cat that’s the same way. The only thing I can use to discipline him are those “Dust off” spray cans of compressed air that you use to clean electronics. He hates that thing and learned pretty quickly to avoid places where I sprayed it at him.
Carefully sprinkle some cayenne pepper on the top, the cat will smell a little and no longer enjoy that spot. Careful not to use too much or let it fall into the exhaust vents on the back of the TV
Try bubble wrap.. Put it on top that tv and guaranteed he’ll not go back.. They don’t like the feel of bubble wrap…
there are 2 ways
1) Put something else near the LCD to distract it.
So every time the cat goes near the TV it would get distracted by a more interesting object. Eg scratching post, toys etc.
2) This is stupid.
Pee all over the LCD to make your territory
