I am working on a web site for a client and I will be working with a web template I downloaded for the first time. are there any tutorials or web site helpers that can help me figure out how to edit the web template to look how i would desire it to look. or if you have advise on how to edit the template and put my own images and text to it could you please help!

Doesn’t make sense how can you have a client and not know how to do what you are asked?
Its simple really look at the css and see if the images are set as a background. If not then go to the page you want to change the image look for img tags and simply direct to your image of course it must be the same size or you will have an uh oh moment. Text look for
tags if it is an organized template, you will see the text.

You need an HTML editor or you can use notepad if you know html.
if not, look for a “WYSIWYG” editor. They will help you edit the pages graphically.
Also, you will need photoshop or GIMP to edit images. Just play around with it till you end up with something you like.
