How Do I Avoid Plagiarism When Trying To Summarize Articles? Tips, Please?

Okay, so I have to summarize these articles for a massive grade.
And usually, i have trouble rephrasing facts or relevant sentences in articles: most of the time i feel like there isn’t another way to put the sentence to make it sound sophisticated enough. And I most definitley cannot copy the sentence. I get stuck. =( . Please give me some tips on how to avoid plagiarism.

    i hav the samee problem.
    i learned to do this:
after reading, put the article away and summarize it from memory. then insert better vocab. afterwards, go bac to article to see what ur missing. put the article away and put in what u left out.
also if there is a phrase u feel like u rlly want to use, jus quote it
    and cite it.
