Would like to upgrade to a more advance, expensive plasma and am willing to put in the extra money. Is there a place where I can “trade in” my sales won LCD TV? What should I do?

Why not try the eBay? I doubt if there are any trade-in programs which will swap a brand new TV and give a good price for it in exchange. That way you might stand to lose on a good deal.

Have you considered just going to a shop where you would like to buy your new TV from and asking them if they would take your prize as part-payment for a new set? And if you are going to get a plasma set then all I can say is good luck. We have had two of them and they were both rubbish. So we are sticking with LCD from now on.
