My internet runs about 600-900 kbps and I have a very good router its a Lynksys and its over $100. I have the Wii internet channel on my Wii and it worksfast but when i try to play online in brawl it lags alot.

It might not be your connection - I think Brawl is just always a little laggy.
It is the same for me
Possibly shut down the other computers on your network. Maybe your computer is downloading or updating something that is slowing down your internet?
