My LCD tv has the jacks needed to be a monitor, but I want to have my normal monitor and my TV as a monitor. Can you tell me what I need?

If your computer is manufactured by dell/hp etc, you will most likely have to buy a new video card, what you do make sure it has two plugs on the back. I use an nvidia 8800gtx like this one:

be sure to look inside your pc to make sure you buy a compatible video card. otherwise youll go to install it and end up with a spendy paper weight.

I suggest to check first the video port or jack on both of them. The common adoptor to connect the compute to TV monitor is using (S-Video port)
