Can I Transport My Lcd Tv In Below Freezing Weather In A Pick Up Truck?

It is currently about 18 degrees out. I got an LCD TV for christmas and I am taking it back to school in my pickup truck. Is it safe to transport it in the box in my truck with the temp being this low?

    i work for shopdigitalonline.com and we ship out LCD tv’s throughout the country, the plasma is known for breaking in the low temperature’s not the lcd hope this helps, and i would Common Sense advice “Yes, but let it come up to room temp for a few hours before turning it on.”
